After doing loads of research on the ‘rights and wrongs…quality and rip-offs’ of various Shutters there seemed to be only ONE solution and that was PPS…they supply ‘Norman’ shutters which I am reliably informed are the very best on the market and as far as price there really was NO comparison with other providers !!

Having been so confused about shutter materials and the ones most suitable for my requirements, I was goggling various shutter products and stumbled upon Daryl’s website only to find he is in Perth (I live in Sydney). I had Pine Plantation Shutters installed today in three bedrooms. They are white, called “Urban” and have 89mm blades. I am thrilled with the result – they look classy and neat. They let light into the room, but without letting direct sun in. They’re easy to open and close and I can see they will be easy to clean (for dust). I am glad I decided to put them in the 3rd bedroom too. Originally I was only going to fit them in 2 bedrooms. The 3 bedroom was a bit tricky to install with a window sill and air conditioner close to the top frame. However Jim did a very good job with the install and they all look terrific! (Thanks Jim!) Daryl, Craig and Melanie were all extremely professional, courteous and friendly. When they gave you an appointment time, they were on time – if they thought they were going to be even a few minutes late, they rang. The date they gave as the installation date was the date they were installed. When I had to ask them to delay installation due to delays I was experiencing with tradespeople they were extremely accommodating and stored the shutters for roughly two months. When they did the installation the mess associated with the shutters was nothing.
